Spring Flowers ~ Watercolor Card ~

Hi everyone!

I know.  It's  {very}  E A R L Y !   {for Montana flowers, that is}.  So what better time than mid-winter to dream of spring... or better yet, imagine it on paper?!  It's never too early to draw, color, and sketch springtime, right?

Which reminds me... I've got some really fun projects to show you, coming up as a preview to Terri Stegmiller's  Stencil Blog Hop, beginning next week!  I'll show a couple of things I've been playing with, on Friday or Saturday's posts!  {They are very 'springy' too!}
I began with adding gesso to some scrapbook paper.  I really do like that 'see-through' background.  I haven't yet got around to trying clear gesso... but that would be fun with more subtle papers, too.
I used my Neocolor watercolor II crayons, and adding highlights with twinkling h20's as well as a bit of silver metallic with a Gelly roll pen, and black Pitt pen, too.
Sunshiney colors... peaceful ... which helps as the sun is shining bright today, and the wind blowing 70 mph {high wind warnings today}.

Thinking Spring!
And this week, I was honored that one of my Etsy artisan friends, Beth, this past week, published her interview of me, as her "Artist Spotlight" segment on her blog, at Bettina's Treehouse.

I hope you'll have a few minutes to read it, and check out her blog!
Soli Deo Gloria!
